About us
Briary Cottages are a relatively recent addition to our family farm in Radstone, near Brackley in the heart of the English countryside.
We are the Bellingham family – Chris, Nicky and our two children Molly and William. Iletts Farm has been in the Bellingham family for six generations. Chris has been farming here with his father, Nigel, since leaving agricultural college (but more accurately since the age of four)!
After leaving Art College Nicky started a career working for Virgin Megastores, enjoying 20 years Managing stores nationwide then left to join Chris and immerse herself in farming and family life.
Our passion for farming…
In the fields around Briary Cottages, we grow grass, maize or winter wheat which we harvest. Our guests love to watch farming in action, especially when the maize forage harvesting begins.

Our passion for family…
On rare breaks away from the farm, we enjoy spending time together skiing – it suits our love of exciting activities and we never like to sit still for long!
Our passion for green energy…
We are determined to be as green as we can at Briary Cottages. The underfloor heating and hot water are both fed from our ground source heat system. We also use biomass and solar energy on the farm and we have recently installed ground-mounted solar panels & Batteries for the cottages and have enough capacity to feed back into the grid too.

Our passion for our cottages…
Briary Cottages were ready for visitors in March 2019. The cottages are named after trees in the woodland; our important Milestone after the agricultural field name and our amazing builder’s dog dear Pepper who visited everyday whilst constructing . The cottages took two long years to build, landscape and furnish. We thought very hard about what our guests would need, want and enjoy – we are very proud of the result and hope you love them as much as we do!
